Located in Zunhua City, Hebei province, the East Qing Tombs are the tombs complex of Emperors with the largest scale and the most integrated system in China. This place was chosen by the Emperor Shunzhi when he was hunting. He came to the foot of the Mountain Chang Rui accidentally and found the scenery was really pretty and then he decided to build royal mausoleum. Here buried 161 royal members, including emperors, empresses, prince and princess. Among those, the most famous should be Emperor Kangxi and Qianlong and Empress Xiaozhuang and Dowager Cixi.

The East Qing Tombs are colossal ancient construction complex with 580 single grand and exquisite architectures, including the widest stone archway, the best-preserved 6,000-meter-long sacred way and 5 11-floor wooden constructions.
