After 22 years at the helm of adventure company Hebridean Pursuits,Connel’s Steve Thomas is finally putting his feet up –at the age of 76.
As founder and patron of the Roses Charitable Trust, which runs alongside the commrcial arm,Steve has helped more than 10,000 children and young adults as well as spending a lot of time in Himalayas and Antartic.
But while he hands over the reins of both Argyll organisations to fellow founder Andy Spink and successor Jane Sayer,he has no intention of hanging up his adventuring boots.
