Adventurer and travel photographer David Roberts to present Galapagos to AMC

Adventure traveler and photographer David Roberts will make an audio-visual presentation entitled “Galapagos" to the Appalachian Mountain Club (AMC) on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 in Westport.

The presentation will be at The Unitarian Church, 10 Lyons Plain Road, Westport, CT 06880. Wine and appetizers from 6.15 pm, dinner at 7.00 pm. and presentation at 8.00 pm. AMC members and non-members are welcome to attend. The cost is $8 for members and $15 for non-members. Participants are asked to bring along a dessert to share if they can. No reservations. In this presentation Stamford based David will show beautiful images from a recent trip to the spectacular Galapagos Islands, where he spent more than two weeks on an 86ft motor yacht, visiting many of the islands and photographing the amazingly diverse scenery and wildlife, both at sea and on land. He will also include photographs of Quito, Ecuador’s picturesque capital city.

Roberts is a retired corporate executive, who has traveled to over sixty countries, and has previously presented on topics ranging from South-West Africa, Ethiopia, Egypt, Rajasthan, South-East Asia, Bolivia, Syria and Jordan.
