Time is running out to boat on the dried up Horsetooth Reservoir.
Projections for water level elevations suggest that the South Bay boat ramps may become unusable as early as Saturday, said the Larimer County Department of Natural Resources in a release Monday.
A full boating outlook for this weekend will be released on Thursday, relating strictly to trailer launched water craft. The reservoir will remain open to hand-launched craft such as kayaks and canoes.
All developed campgrounds will remain open as will all trails.

All boat ramps at Carter Lake are expected to remain in full operation through Labor Day weekend.
