FROM:Australian Geographic
For an adventure with a difference head off with the AG Society to the Kimberley!
April 2013
THE AUSTRALIAN GEOGRAPHIC SOCIETY will be returning to the east Kimberley for the 12th AG Society Scientific Expedition. Scientists and a select group of volunteers will once again venture out to the dusty roads and big skies of the remote north-west, to find out how the region's fauna has been impacted by the  arrival of cane toads. We extend an invitation to all AG readers to join us in this important endeavour, pitch in with the fieldwork and perhaps even feature in the journal.

BOOKINGS: Download the volunteer registration form

When: We will be returning to the east Kimberley from mid April to early May, 2013 for more information email society@ausgeo.com.au

Location: El Questro Wilderness Park campgrounds, 85km south-west of Kununurra, WA. For more details on El Questro, go to www.elquestro.com.au/station

Cost: $2700 per person, which will help support the important work of our scientists. The cost includes camping accommodation and food for the full six days along with all your transport costs for the duration of the expedition. There may be some negotiation on price if you can provide support in the form of a five-seat 4WD.

Duration: We will be taking two separate groups of 16 volunteers. Each group will have the chance to participate in six days of field work. Afterwards you are welcome to stay on at the campgrounds, and should talk to El Questro Wilderness Park about bookings.

Payment: Half the fee is due by 5 November 2012, and the remainder by 15 March 2013.

Transport: Transfer is provided from Kununurra to El Questro, however each volunteer will be required to organise their own transport to Kununurra.
