Ren Xuchuan, deputy director of Mountaineering Sports Management Center of General Administration of Sports of China, Yuchong, director of Shandong Tourism Administration, Li Hongfeng, Party secretary of Tai’an and Governor Wang Yunpeng attended the opening ceremony.

More than 30 media outlets including the People’s Daily, Xinhua News Agency, CCTV and China Daily, as well as nationwide presidents of the Shandong Chamber of Commerce and sponsors came to celebrate the festival.

Lihu, vice-governor of Tai’an, hosted the event. Wang gave a speech.

Li Hongfeng declared the official opening of the festival at 8:20 pm. All participants watched the following artistic performance.
